What we collect
When you request an offer we collect the name, phone number and email address you give us, the address and details of the property, and the answers you select about timing, condition and your reason for selling. We also record the page you arrived from, a hashed form of your IP address and your browser's user agent string, which we use to stop automated abuse of the form.
How it is protected
Your name, phone number, email address, street address and any free-text note are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. The key is held outside the database, so a copy of the database on its own does not reveal who you are. Your IP address is never stored in the clear; only a keyed hash of it is kept, which lets us rate limit abuse without holding the address itself.
Who sees it
Only staff working on your offer, and the title company or closing attorney if you accept an offer and a sale proceeds. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other home buyers, investor lists, lead brokers or marketing companies.
How long we keep it
Lead records are kept for as long as needed to work on your offer and, if a sale completes, for as long as the law requires us to retain transaction records. If no sale results, you may ask us to delete your record at any time.
Your choices
Email privacy@offermyhome.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or use the do not sell or share my personal information page. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone.
