How we make money

We buy houses that need work or need to sell quickly, put them right, and resell or rent them. Our money comes from that spread, not from you. There is no fee to request an offer and no commission on a sale.

What we do with your information

Your name, phone number, email address and property address are encrypted in our systems and are visible only to the people working on your offer. We do not sell or share your details with other investors, lead brokers or call centres. You can have everything deleted at any time by emailing privacy@offermyhome.com or using our do not sell my information page.

What we will not do

• We do not use offers that "expire tonight".
• We do not lower an agreed price at the last minute because we found something we could have asked about earlier.
• We do not tell a seller a cash offer beats listing when it does not. If your house would net you more on the open market, we will tell you and you should go and do that.

Where our market figures come from

The home value and days-on-market figures on our city pages are taken from Zillow's public research data and each one is labelled with the month it belongs to. They describe a whole city, so they are a starting point for a conversation about your house, never a valuation of it.
